Our this week public figure and African hero of people is Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adebayo Adams. He is a successful agropreneur/agrotech expert and he is an astute politician of youth generation, who is making good waves, in Oyo State, Nigeria.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf ) Adebayo Adams is a model of Yoruba ‘Omoluabi’ ethos, pro-humanity thinker, progressive politician and renown youth advocate of all times.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adebayo Adams was born into the prestigious family of late Alhaji M.A Yusuf of Obe Compound at Opoyeosa in the ancient city of Ibadan and Alhaja K.A Yusuf (Nee Adedeji) of Awobiogun in Ede town of Osun state.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adams was born on Friday, some decades ago, at Oni and General Hospital. He was the third born of the family. He has two beautiful elderly sisters that are happily married,namely, Alhaja Asake Apata Kareemat and Alhaja Bashirat Yusuf. He also has a good brother, who is a fine gentleman, Hon. Yusuf Yisa Adedotun popularly known as ‘Mirinda’.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adams was raised by his grandmother, Late Alhaja Rabiatu Abegbe ‘Omo OLOWO TI NKO ILE OJU OMI’ of Iba Oluyole Legendary Dynasty.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf started his elementary education at CAC Oniyanrin in 1996. Then, he was the best graduating student during his set. For his secondary education, Yusuf proceeded to Oba Akinbiyi High School and he was among the shining stars of the institution of learning then as a laboratory prefect.

Based on his strong drive for knowledge, Dr Yusuf advanced his academic struggles and gained admission to Osun State University(UNIOSUN) where he studied agriculture. He bagged Second Class Upper in B. Wildlife and Environmental Resource Management.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adams is a farmer by profession and he is a progressive politician.

Dr Adebayo Adams is an Influential grassroot mobilizer and pro-masses thinker.

Hon.(Dr) Yusuf Adams Adebayo has previously served at various capacities during his university days, at youth levels and in politics.

He is currently the state chairman of Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization(CYMS), Oyo state.

Yusuf Adams Adebayo was among the pioneer members of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria(MSSN) in Uniosun, Ejigbo campus. He later became acting coordinator of the group and he was subsequently selected to be the Financial Secretary of the association, and he successfully delivered.

While on campus, Adebayo was elected Sport Director of NAAS and he later became pioneer President of his department. Then, he was later elected as NAAS president.

Adams bagged Award of Excellence of National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) in 2013. And the Oyo State barbers’ association noticed his leadership prowess and honoured him as “National Leader”.

Dr Adebayo Adams’ effective leadership styles, robust youth advocacy and relentless service to humanity transcend border of Nigeria, no wonder, a prestigious university in the ‘Republic Du Benin(Cotonou)’ found him worthy and conferred an honorary doctorate degree on him.

Dr Adebayo Adams is a young philanthropist who has engaged in different community and developmental projects.

For years, Dr Yusuf Adams Adebayo is a grassroot mobilizer who was later nominated and elected as pioneer councillor of Ward 05 Oke’Badan North LCDA on 12th May 2018 under the leadership of Mogaji Samuel Kolawole Ajadi.

Hon. Dr Yusuf Adams Adebayo has always had a strong passion and drive for legislative business. He always wants to represent his people on the marble floors of parliaments by sponsoring bills, moving motions and enacting laws that are people-friendly.

His legislative agenda focus on health bills, food bank for grassroots, improved education policy, ‘facilitation of infrastructural amenities and social security’, entrepreneurship empowerment, elders’ welfare packages, ‘youth and women empowerments’, environmental protection and consolidating good governance.

As a community leader and servant of humanity, Dr Adebayo Adams has taken it upon himself as a sole responsibility to repair some trunk-C roads like ‘Alawo road at Oniyanrin.

As an intellectual, Dr Yusuf Adams is also a scientist and researcher. He has ‘a most read research project with more 70 thousands sighted’ ; ‘The Effects of Moringa Oleifera As A Substitute for Chlorine and Fluorine in Water Production(Purification) By ‘YUSUF ADAMS ADEBAYO’.

As an advocate of quality and affordable education, Dr Adebayo has supported education sector immensely by giving out school uniforms, paying common entrance exam fees, donating writing items like books and giving other education support materials.

On health, as a lover of humanity, Dr Adebayo Adams has conducted free health related activities and programmes like sinking wells, renovating it among others, especially, when he was elected as CDS President, Charity at the time he was serving at Obio Akpor .

Hon. Dr Yusuf Adams Adebayo is the Chief Executive(CEO) of ‘GreenPeace Cottage Farms & Environmental Consultancy’ and a shareholder at integrated Greenfield Farms.

Dr Yusuf is an ingenious agricultural expert that has professionally engaged in environmental services and consultancy.

Dr Adebayo is former acting Coordinator of ‘Oyo State Councillors Forum’.

Politically, Dr Yusuf Adams Adebayo is a vibrant and young chieftain of All Progressives Congress(APC) from Ibadan Northwest LGA. And he is among galaxies of stars that the LGA parades for Oyo State House of Assembly(OYHA) comes 2023.
