Engr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe
Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the astute professional from Ibadan, Oyo State was born in 1966. He had his early education in St Mary’s RCM School, Oyo; Federal Government College, Ogbomoso and University of Ife, Ile – Ife.
He was a national scholar and awards winning student at Secondary and University levels and graduated with a First Class Degree in Civil Engineering in 1988. He is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, Nigeria; INSEAD France; Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Harvard Business School.
He is a Senior Partner Advisory Services of KPMG Professional Services in Nigeria. Tegbe has an extensive and wide range of experience, spanning about 30years, in institutional transformation, sector and organizational reforms, strategy formulation and blue print development and implementation; in leading/managing various projects in varied industries: non-profit, telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, oil & gas and public sectors; especially providing reform advisory services to Presidency, State Governments and International Agencies.
Prior to the extensive consulting experience, Tegbe worked as Head Materials Accounting for Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), (1991-1992 as contract staff) and has led large technology implementation projects across Africa. He has been involved in major pipeline and tank farm construction projects.
Tegbe set up the Cyber security practice for KPMG in Nigeria. He also led the KPMG African Cybersecurity practice; Public Sector and Technology, Media Telecommunication (TMT). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (FCIT) and Certified in Governance Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
He is an active member of and consultant to the Infrastructure and Human Capital Development Policy Commissions of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Member of Ikoyi Club; Ibadan Recreation Club. In addition, he is the current Chairman of the National Council for Management Development (NCMD); Chairman of the Boards of Trustees of Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA); Federal Government College Ogbomosho Old Student Association, and other various corporate boards.
He is a Philanthropist and Founder of Tegbe Foundation supporting various non-profit and community development initiatives across the country. Some of which are
• Widows Support programmes
• Youth and market women empowerment programmes
• Portable water provision across the 33 local governments in Oyo State.
Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe is a member of Ibadan Recreation Club, Ikeja Golf Club and Ikoyi Club. He is also the Patron of the Atiba Elite Club in Oyo. Tegbe is a devote Christian of Anglican background. He is married and blessed with two sons.
