Ramadan: Akin Alabi Hosts Muslim Faithful, Party Leaders to Iftar • Lawmaker Delivers 500kVA Transformer to Olaogun Community

The member representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Akin Alabi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community development. After delivering solar lights and classroom blocks and improving the newly constructed Idi-osan Olaogun link road, he has also provided a 500 kVA transformer to the Olaogun, Asubiojo, and Onideure communities in the Egbeda Local Government Area.

This gesture is part of his broader efforts to enhance electricity supply and improve residents’ quality of life. The installation of the transformer is expected to address long-standing power challenges in the area, offering relief to both households and businesses.

A statement released by his media aide, Hameed Mustapha Ramadan, hinted that Hon. Akin Alabi hosted Muslim Ummahs and party leaders to an Iftar dinner, where the lawmaker emphasised the importance of prayers, unity, and peaceful coexistence during the holy month of Ramadan.

“This is a time of reflection, giving, and togetherness. Ramadan teaches us selflessness and compassion, and I believe that when we support one another, we can build a stronger and more prosperous society,” Hon. Alabi stated.

He assured the Muslim community and the people of his constituency of his continuous efforts in delivering impactful projects and supporting their welfare.

Community leaders and residents of Olaogun, Asubiojo, and Onideure expressed their gratitude for the transformer, noting that it would significantly improve their daily lives. They also commended Hon. Akin Alabi for his dedication to addressing critical infrastructural needs in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency.

The event concluded with special prayers for the country, its leaders, and the continued progress of the constituency.
