RAMADAN KAREEM!
I join all Muslims across the world to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan. This is a month that is significance to Islamic faithfuls, as it is one which encourages deeper worship and closer relationship to Almighty Allah. This is a holy period where we all Muslims through the acts of fasting and intercession, seek Allah’s face.

The Month of Ramadan teaches us the Allah’s words from the holy books through our Imams, Alfas and other religious leaders in our mosques, as well as in other special gatherings of Islamic faithfuls all through the course of this month.

It is on this note that I greet my Islamic religious father’s in Oyo state, joining my faith and prayers with them, as they lead us through this Holy Month. I send special greetings to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh AbdulGaniyy Abubakri (a.k.a Agbotomokekere).
I also greet Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, our baba ONIMALU (Asiwaju Muslim of Ibadan) alongside many other respected religious leaders in Oyo state.

Lastly, I want to appeal to all Muslims in Oyo State to avail the opportunity of this holy month to pray and intercede for peace and progress of our nation. Let us also pray for ourselves and Oyo State. Ramadan Kareem, Ameen.
