Ramadan Kareem – Prince Akinremi Jagaban Greets Muslim Faithful.

Member, House of Representatives(MHR), from Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Prince Muslihu Akinremi Jagaban (PAJ) has greeted Muslims on the commencement of this year Ramadan fasting.

I join all Muslims across the world to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan. This is a month that holds great significance for Islamic faithfuls, as it is one which encourages deeper worship and closer relationship with Almighty Allah. It is a holy period where we Muslims through the acts of fasting and intercession, seek Allah’s face.

The Month of Ramadan also avails us the opportunity for extensive teachings of Allah’s words from the holy books through our Imams, Alfas and other religious leaders in our mosques, as well as in other special gatherings of Islamic faithfuls all through the course of this month.

It is on this premise that I salute our Islamic religious leaders in Oyo state, joining my faith and prayers with them, as they lead us through this Holy Month. I send special greetings to the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh AbdulGaniyy Abubakri (a.k.a Agbotomokekere). I also greet Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, Sheikh Uthman Sanu Sheu alongside many other respected religious leaders in Oyo state.

Lastly, I want to encourage Muslims in Oyo State to avail the opportunity of this holy month to pray and intercede for peace and progress of our nation. Let us also pray for ourselves and Oyo State. May we all be partakers of the blessings in this month of Ramadan, Ameen.
