Oyo State Women Leader of the All Progressives(APC), and an Astute Politician, Alhaja Tinuade Adigun has greeted Muslims in Nigeria and across the world over the commencement of this year Ramadan fasting.
The influential Chieftainess of Oyo APC, Alhaja Adigun in a statement personally signed by herself and made available to the newsmen in Ibadan, stated that,”Celebrating the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan every year is in Remembrance and fear of Almighty Allah for the affection He has for humanity.
The female archetype furthered his message by quoting the Holy Quran that,”Fasting is a reflective exercise prescribed to become mindful of God. Also in Quran 2 vs 183 Almighty Allah says that,’O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you so that you can fear Allah”.
Alhaja Adigun encouraged Muslims, and people, generally, to emulate the practice of the Prophet Muhammad and His sayings.”Let’s emulate our noble prophet and his saying. It should have direct positive impacts on our dealings with humanity as instructed by Allah, in the scripture, Holy Quran and Hadith of Prophet Muhammad. The faithful should also increase in fear of Almighty Allah during this month of Ramadan”.
Adigun prayed that may we be forgiven of all our sins in this Holy Month of Ramadan. He admonished people to remember the pacesetter state and Nigeria, at large, in their daily prayers for continuous peace and tranquility. Happy Ramadan mubarak! Congratulations.” She submitted.
