Ramadan: OYHA Hopeful, Ishola Akeem Felicitates With Muslim Faithful, Sues For Peace, Tranquility.
A leading Ibadan North East House of Assembly Hopeful on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo-State, Hon. Ishola Akeem Adetoyese has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan. He sued for peace and tranquility in the state.
Hon. Ishola Akeem, a board member of the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency , in his this year Ramadan message which was made available to the newsmen, charged Abrahamic faithful to see the need for a peaceful Nigeria. He maintained that ,” it is only through religious tolerance and having peaceful atmosphere that we can all enjoy the good of the government and dividend of democracy that we have all struggled and strived for.
Ishola further added that; “the essence of the month of Ramadan is to have the best value of love, kindness, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence couple with tolerance among ourselves. And the Holy Quran has taught us all to be our brothers’ keeper in this month of blessing and beyond.”
Ishola reiterated that; “for the overall development of this country, we must all move away from doing wrong things, which spawn to corruption and many other detrimental acts affecting the development of our land”. He stated that, “we have been guided and enlightened in the Holy Quran that; ‘The month of Ramadan in which was revealed, the Holy Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and criterion between right and wrong (Q2:185)’.”
“I pray to Allah to accept all our deeds in this holy month and count it as an act of worshipping Him and may He answer our prayers now and always”, Ishola concluded.
