‘Rerun-Elections Victory’: Senator Buhari Rejoices with Ibrahim Shittu, Saki West, Oyo APC

By Semiu Azeez: The Senator from Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai, has rejoiced with the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and winner of the just concluded rerun elections for the State House of Assembly from Saki West Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Shittu.

Senator Buhari expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God and the good people of Saki West State Constituency for the victory recorded in the last elections that returned Hon. Shittu as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly to represent Saki West State Constituency.

According to Senator Buhari, the victory was a well-deserved one following the impacts Hon. Shittu and the All Progressives Congress had recorded in the State Constituency.

The Legislator, who dedicated the victory to all leaders and members of the APC in Oyo State, congratulated the party stalwarts on the success recorded at the poll.

“The victory of our party was no doubt a confirmation of the acceptability of the APC by Nigerians who believed in progressive policies and programmes capable of making lives worthy of living,” Senator Buhari said.

While he charged Hon. Shittu to remain focused and strive hard to represent his people with equity, justice, and fairness, Senator Buhari assured constituents of Saki West that their gestures in the elections would be reciprocated with appreciative dividends of democracy from Hon. Shittu.
