Retirement : Family, Friends Celebrate Tayo Hassan, Oluwo, Oriolowo, Adeoti, Akinbade, Adekanmbi, Others Grace His Colloquium, Birthday Party .

The family, friends and associates across facets of society have celebrated ESV Rasheed Omotayo Hassan Lamuye and held colloquium in his honour as he clocked 60 years and retired from the public service of Osun State.

The colloquium was graced by Oluwo of Iwo Land, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi Telu-I, chaired by Prof. Lai Dawood Olorode, former INEC National Commissioner and hosted by Alhaji Fatai Akinbade Ajibade, former SSG, Osun State .

The keynote address was given by Dr. Festus Adedayo, prolific writer and media consultant while Mr Soji Eniade, former Head of Service, Oyo State and Hon. Ayodeji Kareem, President/CEO, Winchester Home& Construction respectively delivered the lectures .

Topics of discursion were “Life in & After Public Service in Nigeria” and “Land Matters & Affordable Housing in Nigeria”.

Islamic Lecture was delivered by Imam Buhari Habeebulah Adekunle.

In attendance are Senator Adelere Oriolowo of Osun West, Alhaji Moshood Olalekan Adeoti , Former SSG, Osun State, Hon. Charles Akinola, Chief of Staff(CoS), Osun State, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi, former Deputy Chief of Staff, Oyo State, Hon. Isaac Omodewu, former Oyo State, Commissioner for Land, Justice Bayo Ojo, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Oyo State, Elder Akeem Akinbiyi, Hon. Demola Layade, Alhaji Ambali Abiodun, Hon. Sai Rahman among others.

ESV Rasheed Omotayo Hassan Lamuye was born to the royal family of Iwo Sixty Years ago to Alhaji Muslim Akangbe Hassan Lamuye . He started schooling in the year 1967 at D.C ,Oke Ola, Iwo and passed out in 1972 . For his secondary education, he attended the famous L.A Commercial Modern School, Iwo and Later Iwo Grammar School, Osun State . He is Alumnus of The Polytechnic, Ibadan. For his employment career , he started working with the then Oyo State Civil Service Commission in 1989 where he was posted to Ministry of land, Housing and Survey, Ibadan.

Tayo Hassan was employed as Higher Estate Officer until he was converted to Lands Officer II in August, 1991. He gained admission into the University of Ibadan to study Urban and Regional Planning and passed out in 1994 with master degree. He served under various capacity in the Ministry of Land, Physical Planning and Urban Development in Osun State until his recent post as Permanent Secretary.

For his Professional career, he is an associate member of the Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyor and Valuer(NIESV) and also registered with his professional body – Estate and Valuer Registration Board of Nigeria(ESVARBON).

ESV Tayo is happily married and blessed with children, two of them are medical doctors from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Dr Lekan Hassan of UITH Ilorin, Dr Kifayah Hassan- Oyefolahan, a Medical Official with primary fellowship in obstetrics and gynecology in Kaduna State, a lawyer , Barr. Mojisola Ruqoyah , Busayo Nafeesah PHD in view , Hassan Ismaeel, a University of Ilorin Statistics graduate and Qoyum Afolabi, an undergraduate at OAU,Ile Ife , Osun State .
