Revealed : Oyo Govt Sets to Victimise NULGE Leaders .

Oyo state government led by Engr Seyi Makinde has set to victimise some leaders of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE .

Since when the imposition of the anointed candidates of the present administration led by Engr Seyi Makinde has failed, the state government had started different kinds of victimisation , intimidation and oppression against all independent minds and leaders who believe that their union must be non-partisan but be pro-union members and work collectively with the state government to better the lot of their members and move the state forward.

This news paper , Africano Trumpeters recalled that few minutes after the winners had emerged at the 2019 convention/election of the Oyo State chapter of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, a court injunction restraining them from participating in the election surfaced at the Saki, venue of the election.

The duo of Oyewo Akeem Damilare and Bogunbe Abass Adekunle had been allegedly threatened to step down for Opabunmi.

Last year, they were about to count the votes recorded by each of the three presidential candidates before the court bailiff, accompanied by policemen, arrived the venue of the election .

However , that did not prevent them from going ahead with the counting. At the end of the counting, Bogunbe had 206, Oyewo had 71 while Opabunmi had 22 votes respectively.

In the results declared last year , Adeyanju Teniola got 203 while Oduola Olusola got 39 for the position of women chairperson;Micheal Ajiboye 143 against Alaje Olufemi’s 88  and James Olusegun’s 44 for trusteeship position; Ojo John 228 against Ojo Sunday’s 67 for publicity secretary position; Kadiri Sulaimon’s 213 against Olaleye Samson’s 85 for deputy president position; Atilade 128 against Oyinloye’s 79, Adeoye’s 23, Oyeniyi’s 22 and Busari’s 18 for the auditor’s position while Tella  polled 207 to defeat Aderibigbe for the young worker position.
