S’ Court Verdict: Ayodeji Karim Congratulates Oyo ALGON, Chides Makinde for “Contempt of Democracy”.

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC), in Ibadan Land, Hon. Ayodeji Ismail Karim has congratulated Oyo State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON) over their victory at the Supreme Court yesterday.

Ayo Karim chided the Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for disregarding a “sacred mandate” freely given by the peace loving people of Oyo state. He described this as unpleasant for our nascent democracy.

Kareem drummed support for local government autonomy. He reiterated it that, ” The third tier of government must be devoid of interference from other levels of government.

“Congratulations ALGON. Congratulations APC. Congratulations good people of Oyo-State. Democracy wins. Rule of Law wins”, Kareem concluded.
