S’ Court Judgement : Fatai Buhari Felicitates With Oyo ALGON, Reiterates APC Commitment to Ensure Adherence By Makinde.

Senator Buhari Abdulfatai of Oyo North District has felicitated with Members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON), Oyo State Chapter on their favourable judgement recorded at the Supreme Court yesterday.

The Lawmaker, Buhari in a press release signed and made available to journalists few hours after the verdict stated that he was not amazed by the judgement because he believed strongly in Nigerian judiciary as the last hope of common men.

While felicitating with the Local Government elected officials over their victory at the supreme Court, Senator Buhari admonished Governor Seyi Makinde to comply with the orders of the Apex Court without any delay.

He saluted the patience, perseverance and commitments of Oyo ALGON leadership displayed to achieve the favourable outcome. He maintained that leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state, “are peace loving and law abiding citizens.

Buhari further enjoined Governor Makinde led government in the State to learn from his illegal conducts that led to the dissolution of elected officials of local government, just because of his personal interest. He advised him to be a respecter of rule of law.

Buhari encouraged the ALGON leadership to remain calm. He reiterated that, “surely efforts will be intensified to ensure that the law takes its cause as it was passed by the Supreme Court.

Senator Buhari disclosed that the joy of the judgement was that the illegality of Governor Makinde was revealed and repelled.
