S’ Court Judgement: This Is A Victory for Democracy – ‘Jide Adeyemi.
House of Representative Hopeful, from Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency, Hon. ‘Jide Adeyemi has congratulated the Local Government elected officials, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Oyo state, over their victory at the Supreme Court recorded yesterday. He considered the apex court judgement as “victory for democracy.
The supreme court confirmed that Governor Seyi Makinde was wrong according to the judgement, which reads, “the dissolution of local governments in Oyo State and their replacement with caretaker committees is illegal.”
‘Jide Adeyemi, in a statement, said that, “even though we did not get the court’s affirmation of all our prayers, our dignity and the legacy of the late governor, Senator Ajimobi, was not tainted.
