S’ Court Verdict: This is “Victory for Democracy” • I Laud Your Tenacity in The Face of Tyranny – Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, Bimbo Adekanmbi Congratulates Oyo APC, ALGON.
Former Deputy Chief of Staff(DCoS), in Oyo-State, Hon. Abimbola Adekanmbi has congratulated the state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria(ALGON) over their victory, on Friday, at the Supreme Court.
Former Finance Commissioner, during the regime of late Governor Ajimobi, Adekanmbi described the judgement as victory for the “ Democracy”.
The Financial Guru, Adekanmbi lauded the perseverance and gallantry of Oyo ALGON under the leadership of Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, especially, their tenacity displayed to survive the tyranny of the PDP led state government in the state.
“Firstly, I thank God Almighty for the victory. I’m happy that the late Senator Ajimobi’s good legacies have become immortal. And kudos to Her Excellency, former First Lady of the state, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi for sustaining the good legacies of our late leader.
”More importantly, I appreciate Oyo APC party Executives led by Chief Akin Oke. I, specifically, thank our legal team, particularly, Chief Akin Alli(SAN) and Chief Niyi Akintola(SAN), thank you you all, sirs.
Adekanmbi urged the chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors to remain devoted and committed to the party, APC, to rescue the state from the grip of reactionary elements manning her affairs.
