Sen Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi’s Foundation, RAAF Rolls Out ‘Easter,Ramadan Financial Gifts, Foodstuff’, COMBAT UK Coordinator, Prince Rolu 1 Hails Founder
Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF), a philanthropic organisation of Senator Rilwan A. Akanbi and Chief (Mrs.) Folake Akanbi, Okanlomo, and Yeye-Okanlomo of Ibadan Land, has shown love and supported people in this spiritual season of Lent and Ramadan.
RAAF’s founder, Sen. Akanbi, stated,”The unfavourable economic impact of the hyper-inflation being experienced in the country shall be cushioned by our humble gesture.
“Also, that PBAT has given rice grains through the members of the National Assembly and some few political office holders is commendable, and may God always guide our leaders rightly and protect them.
In a statement issued by RAAF and made available to journalists by Hon. Dotun Olorundero, it was revealed that,”Senator R. Akanbi has embarked on financial empowerment by uplifting the spending capacity of:
1. 1000 individuals with the sum of #10,000:00.
2. 200 selected people with #25,000:00.
On the other hand, Chief (Mrs.) Folake Akanbi has also embarked on giving food palliative to orphanages, motherless baby homes, widow groups, and various women groups.
The RAAF Foundation was established in memory of Alh. (Chief) M.O. Akanbi, the 3rd Babasale Musulumi of Ibadanland and Yorubaland, after his demise about 18 years ago. The foundation is non-political and equally into other philanthropic activities in hospitals, education, and communities.

While reacting to consistent RAAF humanitarian activities, the Coordinator of the Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COMBAT), United Kingdom Chapter, Prince Gboyega Aderolu (ROLU 1), lauded their founder, Sen. Akanbi, for ceaseless humanitarian activities and philanthropic gestures for the past decades.
Prince Rolu 1 extolled Sen. Soji Akanbi and his wife, Alhaja Folake Akanbi’s virtues.
Aderolu prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government and for the COMBAT’s founder, Akanbi, to reap the fruits of his labour.
