Sen Sharafadeen Alli Bags 2024 Outstanding Political Personality of Year 2024 Award at Lead City University
Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has been awarded Outstanding Political Personality of the Year 2024 at Lead City University’s prestigious Adeline Hall.
The award ceremony, part of the university’s 12th annual POISE Dinner & Awards, also saw Senator Alli inducted as a Fellow of the Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management (IPD-CRM).
The event, attended by around two thousand final-year students, celebrated notable personalities and their contributions to various fields. Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi was also honoured at the event, receiving the Poise Matured Student Award and an induction as a Fellow of IPD-CRM.
Dr. Ayobami Owolabi, President of IPD-CRM and Deputy Registrar of Corporate Communications and Student Services, coordinated the award and induction ceremony. The formal proceedings were conducted by Prof. Lambert A. Ihebuzor, the registrar of the institute.
The awards were presented in a colourful ceremony that attracted significant media attention, with Channel TV, AIT, NTA, Prince 89.7fm, Lead Radio 106.3fm, and Lead City 89.1fm broadcasting the event live.
Senator Alli’s award was presented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Lead City University, Prof. Omolara Campbell, and was received on his behalf by his wife, Alhaja Tawa Sharafadeen Alli.
Other notable inductees included Prince Babatunde Balogun Oruomeniowo, Chairman/CEO of Prince 89.7 FM, and Hon. Ademola Omotoso, former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.
This event underscored Lead City University’s commitment to recognising and celebrating excellence and leadership among its students and the wider community.
