Sen Teslim Folarin Congratulates New Oyo NLC Excos, Assures “Creators of Wealth” of Pro-Workers Governance.

Gubernatorial Standardbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Oyo State, come March 18, Senator Teslim Folarin has congratulated the newly elected executive members of Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC).

I extend my warmest congratulations to newly elected Oyo State Executives of the Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) led by Com. Kayode Martins.

The re-election of Comrade Martins has further justified the confidence that the members of the union repose in his leadership.

I am ready to collaborate with labour unions in ensuring better welfare packages for the workers.

It’s an undeniable fact that workers in Oyo State are being shortchanged especially with non-remittance of their deductions. The issue will be addressed by our administration.

I wish to also restate my commitment to local government autonomy that workers have been agitating for. Also, I assure that no worker will lose his/her job while those that were unjustly sacked will be reinstated.

Lastly, prompt payment of salaries and pensions will be our priorities.
