Senator Buhari Empowers 240 Farmers with 1200 Bags of Fertilizer in Oyo North
OYO NORTH: Senator Buhari Doles Out 1200 Bags of Fertilizer to 240 Farmers, Reignites Hope for Better Nigeria in Constituents

Distinguished Senator Buhari Abdulfatai has again distributed 1200 bags of fertilizer to 240 farmers selected among the constituents in Oyo North Senatorial District.
The empowerment that had as beneficiaries people from the 13 local government areas that made up Oyo North was held at the residence of Senator Buhari at Isale High School Area, Ogbomoso/Oyo Road, Ogbomoso today, Saturday September 14, 2024.
Presenting five bags of fertilizer to each of the beneficiaries, Senator Buhari reignited the hope for a better Nigeria in the farmers as he declared that the government led by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu will ensure a better living for all and sundry.
While congratulating the beneficiaries, the lawmaker enjoined them to make best use of the items given to them to increase their productivity to prove that Oyo North is the food basket of Oyo State.
The Distinguished Senator disclosed that it took him time to identify the beneficiaries because he wanted to be sure that they are real farmers so that the overall objective of dolling out the fertilizer will be achieved.
Prominent among the groups that enjoyed the gesture were All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Oke Ogun Oluwaseun Farmers Association (OOFA), All Female Farmers Income Generating Association (AFIGA), Agbeloba Group of Farmers Association (AGFA), Oke Ogun Youth Association of Farmers (OYAF), Aanuoluwapo Farmers Association, Ogo-Oluwa Kiitan Farmers Association, Organic Livestock and Crops Owners Association of Nigeria, Asabari Young Farmers Association and Isale Oke Farmers Association.
Appreciating the gestures from Senator Buhari on behalf of the 240 beneficiaries, Mr. Rotimi Adeleke lauded the Legislator for his unrelenting efforts aimed at assisting his constituents out of the shackle of poverty.
He prayed onto God to continually guide Senator Buhari and endow him with the opportunity to serve the good people of not only Oyo North but the entire Oyo State at a higher position soonest.
