“As Oyo State government is conducting the official coronation and presentation of staff of office to the New Olubadan of Ibadanland today, the entire people of Oyo State shall further enjoy the wealth of experience of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin”.
The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai made this declaration in his message to rejoice with Oba Olakulehin, people of Ibadanland and entire Oyo State on the occasion of the coronation and official presentation of staff of office to the New monarch holding in Ibadan today.
In a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of today, Senator Buhari congratulated Olubadan on his new palace that was started by prominent personalities of the land which included his late boss and leader, Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
The lawmaker while commending the relentless efforts of people of Ibadan on the new palace for their Oba charged the Indigenes never to stop supporting Kabiesi and make the throne habitable and the traditional administration of Ibadanland easier for him and Olubadan-in-Council.
Senator Buhari who expressed his heartfelt appreciation to God for the life of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland described His Imperial Majesty’s emergence as a manifestation of a long dream and so he prayed for him to live longer with sound health and peace of mind on the throne of his ancestors.
