Senator Buhari Rejoices with Chief Florence Ajimobi on Ambassadorial Nomination
Senator Buhari Abdulfatai, PhD, has rejoiced with a chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress and wife of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, Chief (Dr) Florence Abiola Ajimobi, on her selection for appointment as an ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The lawmaker expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the entire people of Oyo State, particularly the progressives, in a press release issued in the early hours of today.
According to Senator Buhari, the selection of Chief Florence, whom he identified as a mother, leader and benefactor, was a right decision from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to further unite the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State.
“Chief (Dr) Florence does not only deserve the appointment, she merits it, and I am confident, going by her endowments, that she will be the best among the equals,” he said.
“I’m glad that this has come at the ordained time. Our mother, who doubles as wife of my boss, leader and benefactor, had neither betrayed nor disappointed us, and this will further make her more committed and dedicated to the success and unity of our political family,” Senator Buhari added.
He prayed for more divine knowledge and wisdom required to succeed in the new task that will be given to Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi soonest.
