A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC and Oyo South Senatorial Hopeful, on the platform of the All Progressives(APC), come 2023, Prince Kola Asanike has, on Monday, expressed heartfelt tribute in honour of the departed governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao Akala.
Asanike joined dignatories and other well wishers who included the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engnr. Seyi Makinde, Barr. Niyi Akintola SAN among others, to bid farewell to the former governor who passed on early in January this year, 2022.
In his message, the astute financial expert, Asanike described Akala as a man of strong political will blessed with tremendous strength and courage to “solve all challenging equations” in public responsibility.
Asanike who spoke to journalists in Ibadan in telephone conversation noted that, “Chief Akala was a strong-willed politician who was also blessed with solution devices to solve all challenging equations in politics no matter how herculean.”
“He was a public funtionary whose administrative skills engaged the cause of the masses. Chief Akala would be missed by my party, APC and indeed, his people in Ogbomoso his hometown. May his soul rest in peace”, Asanike said.
