Skimmeh Donates N10M towards Forthcoming Local Government Elections in Oyo Federal Constituency

The Honourable representing Oyo Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber, who also doubles as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Technical Committee saddled with prosecuting the forthcoming local government election in Oyo Federal Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, met with the four chairmanship and the forty councillorship candidates on Saturday, April 20, 2024. He was joined by Senator Yunus Akintunde and another major financier of the party, Eng. Idris Adeoye, where the party’s candidates were encouraged to remain resolute in their quests to come out victorious in the forthcoming 27th of April’s elections. 

Hon. Prince Adeyemi, while speaking, enjoined the party’s candidates and leaders to be steadfast and ensure all the party’s political machinery is rejigged in preparations for the election. In demonstrating his commitments, the Hon. Prince Adeyemi doled out 10 million naira. Also, a total sum of N2.5 million was released immediately to organise the Oyo Federal Constituency Zonal Rally, billed to come up on Tuesday, April 23rd. 

Party leaders who spoke at the meeting, including State Secretary Alh. Tajudeen Olanite, Mr. Ogundijo, Mr. Olorode, and others, took turns to appreciate the trio of Hon. Akeem Adeyemi, Senator Yunus Akintunde, and Eng. Idris Adeoye for their financial commitments. 

Likewise, Mrs. Sadiat Usman, who spoke on behalf of women, appreciated the three leaders for showing love and concern for the affairs and progress of the party.
