SME’s Workers’ Recruitment Is A Major Challenge – Malcolm Confectioneries’ CEO, Olaore Reveals.

The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Malcom Confectionaries, Comrade Olaore Naheem has identified recruitment of workers as a major challenge facing his establishment.

Malcolm Confectionaries is an establishment that is specialized in the production of packaged doughnuts, cake, breads and “chinchin” in Osun state.

Olaore in an interview with OSUN DEFENDER revealed that getting staffers to do the job has remained a major challenge facing the business.

He said: “Considering the present situation of our society today that everybody wants to be a millionaire without a legitimate job, nobody wants to engage in a monthly pay job, thus, scarcity of staffers has remained a major challenge till now.

“Ladies will tell you they can get your salary within two days. Recruitment of staff is really challenging, but we give thanks to Almighty God that we’re moving forward. Presently, our products are yet to be known across the state, our dream is to cut across the state and the country at large”, he stated.

“Malcom Confectionaries was established on March 2, 2019 and was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission. Since the existence of the company, we have been contributing to the progress of our society positively, in our own little way, by ensuring production of rich in balance diet flour-made snacks.

“My motive of establishing the buisiness is to empower myself and to contribute to the society by reducing the level of unemployment.

“Though, challenges are part of what we are meant to face as human being. It builds us for the future, and it opens us to reality. You can not succeed without challenges. Actually when we started the product, it was new to people. Some people see it as bread. The demand was very low, then, but our focus, determination and firm resolution continue to help the brand growing. Glory be to Almighty God today.

Advising his fellow youths, Olaore stated that; “My advice for young graduates in the state is to engage themselves in any entrepreneurship skill, even from secondary school. That doesn’t stop them from getting white collar job but, it will add value to their lives and it will also serve as alternative to their source of income. It will also make them an independent person.

“We must understand that education is not a certificate to success but to it serves as guidance in our area of specialization. To the glory of God, today, at least, I have a total number of 12 staffers working with me in the factory”, h said.
