Socrates’ Thinkery: CAMARADERIE,  FRATERNITY AND POLITICS | Monsuru Adeyemo

Socrates’ Thinkery: CAMARADERIE,  FRATERNITY AND POLITICS | Monsuru Adeyemo.

When it comes to genuine comradeship and unalloyed brotherhood, please, give it to, at least, three people – theologue, ideologue and mafioso.

As far as solidarity of men and women – Fraternity and camaraderie, is concerned, I so much regard theologues (believers of God, irrespective of their faiths), ideologues (comrades, irrespective of their leanings) and mafia (Dons, especially, benevolent ones among them).

Meanwhile, among these three peoples, I only cherish two peoples – Pious people and progressive-minded personalities. I do so because when faithful and comrades, genuinely, stand for theirs with cautions, mafiamanagers revolt against the ordinances of God, and conspire against humanity – they mostly act as misanthropes and malefactors. But truth be told, in term of loyalty to brotherhood, please, give it to the trio.

These peoples, rarely, trade their own except if traitors infiltrate them.

Hmmmm! Did you just ask me about politicians? Of course, politicians are great people and eminent personalities. Yes, they’re but “Kinikan Ba Ajao Je Apa Re Gun Ju Itan Lo”. At slight of any ‘flimsy’ excuse, they abandon theirs and hang it on “Interests”. That’s when you would hear,”Politics is an interest-driven game, it’s what it’s, game is game and so on”.

Yes, politicians are valued people but they’ve so much allowed interests to drive them more than how values, principles, ethos or ideals, could have done. Many are, only, concerned with stratagems, especially, deceitful means that protect their interests. So, Kudos to few Omoluabis – integrous personalities that are still in politics. They’re dependable companions, trusted allies, and blessings to humanity – They’re comrades and brothers in need, in deed and indeed.

By and large; Theologues, ideologues, mafiamanagers and politicians! I hail you Ooo.

Good Morning, Africa.

Comrade Monsuru Adeyemo(Socrates) is philosophically, reflecting in his “Thinkery”.
