Ahead of this Saturday presidential polls, the Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Chief Amidu Ajibade has endorsed Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigeria’s helmsman. Ajibade also hailed Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbia as a trusted mentee and true face of Asiwaju Tinubu in Oyo-State.
Chief Ajibade who spoke on the sidelines of the formal gathering and important meeting of the market men and women, artisans and tradesmen, and other organisational leaders, hosted, recently, by Sen. Akanbi, in Ibadan, reminisced series of Akabi’s inputs and lauded the Okanlomo of Ibadan Land.“Indeed, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi is a trusted ally, dependable companion, committed lieutenant and loyal mentee of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. As SWAGA Vice Chairman, SOJ won the hearts of not less than 340 Kings in Yoruba land for Asiwaju’s presidential bid. He is part of the think thank – Planning and Strategy Committee for Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency, then as aspirant.
“Coming to Oyo State, Sen. Soji Akanbi initiated COMBAT – Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He commissioned 8 Hummer Buses for the strategic movement and massive voters’ grassroots mobilisation. Also, SOJ branded two houses, with halls and ICT Centre. One at Ringroad and second one at Nalende.
Chief Ajibade continued,“SOJ worked on and got endorsement of pensioners for Asiwaju Tinubu. He met various market associations, artisans and professional bodies. He did not only get their endorsements but they also, they agreed to work for Tinubu as canvassers. Also, SOJ met with young lecturers and non-teaching staff in Oyo- state. Currently, Senator Soji Akanbi is embarking on so many road show, meeting opinion-moulders, community heads, and other several stakeholders. He branded many souvenirs and other items.
The long and short of the story is that Chief Ajibade saluted Soji Akanbi for his relentless efforts on Asiwaju Tinubu’s presidential project and hailed the Chairman Dynasty Airline Management, Akanbi as the good face of former Lagos state governor in the state. “Conclusively, thank you Senator Soji Akanbi for all your efforts. You’re a good mentee to your mentor. You’re an epitome of loyalty and by His Grace, you shall reap the fruits of what you sowed.
Chief Ajibade endorsed and canvassed for Tinubu.“ As helmsman,he has done wonders in Lagos state and with his Midas touch, he revolutionized the mega city. He created many local council development areas to bring government closer to the people at grassroots levels and he initiated many other pro-masses agenda, in the Centre of Excellence.
