Former Aide to late Governor Abiola Ajimobi and a notable philanthropist from Ogbomosho Land , Engr Muftau Open Salawu has carpeted those denigrating personality of the paramount ruler of Ogbomosho Land, Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewumi Ajagungbade lll on the donation of 100 Million Naira made by Oyo State government to the royal father to renovate his palace allegedly destroyed by End SARS protesters .
Open Salawu also solicited for supports for the family of late Isiaka Jimoh who lost his life extra judicially during the cause of the End SARS protest in Ogbomosho Land.
” Soun of Ogbomosho palace was the best in the south west when it was built in 1978. We really appreciate Governor Seyi Makinde for the award of 100 million Naira for the renovation of the palace and replacement of some damaged properties but the money is nothing to be compared with the trauma, embarrassment and cantankerous act brought to nonagenarian and the peace loving people of Ogbomoso in general”, Salawu maintained .
