Soun’s Demise: Arisekola Mourns Ajagungbade, Describes Late Monarch As Classy King Who Brought Tremendous Developments to Ogbomosoland.

Son of late Aare Musulumi of Yoruba Land and Aare of Ibadanland, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Arisekola-Alao and former Commissioner for Youths and Sports, under Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Honourable Umar-Farouk Arisekola-Alao has commiserated with the good people of Ogbomosoland over the transition of Soun of Ogbomoso, His Imperial Majesty, Oba(Dr) Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi,Ajagungbade-III.

Arisekola described the late monarch as a classy and blessed king who brought tremendous developments and huge blessings to Ogbomosoland.

“There is never a good time to loose a good father. No matter how old a good father is, you want him around to linger for even longer, so, one can continue to drink from his pool of wisdom. Our late father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oladunni Oyewumi,Ajagungbade III, the Soun of Ogbomoso Land epitomized a great king to the people of Ogbomoso and a good father to us all. His contribution to the development of Oyo State, in particular, and Nigeria at large cannot be overemphasized”, he lauded.

Hon. Arisekola further extolled and said that,”In your time, you ensured Ogbomoso stayed on the global map for very many positive things. You brought class to the crown and blessings to the town. It is definitely sad to see you transit but we take solace in the very remarkable life you lived as a young noble, aging king and aged monarch. Your legacies will continue to radiate in gold, your name on the lips of many and your thoughts in the hearts of all. Goodnight, my king and father!”, Umar-Farouk Arisekola paid tribute.

Arisekola prayed that may Allah grant the bereaved fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and the late monarch, a befitting eternal rest.
