Soun’s Demise: We’ve Lost An Outstanding Royal Father – Adelabu Mourns Ajagungbade.
Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), during 2019 general election, in Oyo-State, Chief Bayo Adelabu has mourned the passing away of the highly respected and exemplary Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba(Dr) Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III.
Adelabu while reacting to the news of the monarch’s demise, said,”Indeed, we’ve lost a rare royal father in Ogbomosholand, Oyo State and entire Yorubaland.”
“The late Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III is a father to me, to the good people of Ogbomosholand, Oyo State and Yorubaland, as a whole. He has distinguished himself during his reign as a monarch with class, as his exemplary principles had attracted many development to Ogbomosholand.”
“During my many personal and political visits to the late Kabiesi, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III before, during and after the 2019 general election, he has never hidden his love for the growth and development of his land, Ogbomosho, and he has always been sincere to his principles of development and good governance.”
“In him, I learnt the importance of patience, honesty and integrity to National development. He is exemplary, good and he had a lion heart for all.”
“I condole with Ogbomosho people, in particular, on the passing away of the highly respected Kabiesi. Baba is a pride of Oyo State, Yorubaland and the whole world in general.”
“May Allah accept his return and grant him eternal rest.”Adelabu prayed.
