Muslim scholars, clerics, and other eminent personalities have, yesterday, gathered, in the ancient city of Oyo Alaafin, to celebrate the former Governor of Osun State, and immediate past Minister of Interior, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
While speaking at the event convened by the Khadeemul Muslimeen of Oyo Empire, Sheikh Daud Tijani popularly known as Igi-Ogun, Ogbeni Aregbesola hailed the Concerned Muslim Scholars and Clerics in South Western Nigeria for hosting a civic reception in his honour.”I appreciate the many Scholars, Clerics and Muslim leaders who showered encomiums on me for being a ‘Pride to Islam’.

He also thanked, specially, the Chairman, Oyo State Muslim Community, Alhaji Ishaq Kunle Sanni; Prof. Sarafadeen Kareem from Federal University of Agriculture, Ogun State and Associate Prof. Abass Alade of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
