Sports: Golden FC, Pontela FC, Gambari FC Win Prizes At “Bunvic 2021 Football Competition’s Finals”.

The 2021 edition of the Chairman, House of Representatives’ Committee on Information National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Honourable Segun Odebunmi, Bunvic’s final of the annual football competition has been held in Ogo-Oluwa and Surulere Local Government Areas, respectively

The fist position in Ogo-Oluwa zone final match was between Pontela FC and Oba FC, and it was won by Pontela FC.

While in Surulere North LCDA ,the final match was between Gambari FC vs Igbon FC in favour of Gambari FC.

In Surulere Local Government, Oko FC defeated Mayin by a lone goal while Jumbo FC of Igbo Ile lost to Golden Star FC of idi Oro with 0-2 at iresapa high school.

The Coach, Kayode Adebayo popularly known as Rogamila, who is the organizer of the event revealed to journalists that over 50 teams participated in the game and 6 teams got to the finals, with 2 each from the three zones.

While addressing pressmen, the MHR from Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Odebunmi said that,”The football competition is organized annually to further cement relationship among the youths in Ogbomoso and showcase their talents.

Odebunmi further maintained that,“I’ve been sponsoring sporting competitions for over 10 years and since we’ve started, many of players, discovered, are already playing professional football leagues. I am also a player myself and I love sport so much”.

Bunvic assured that he will always prioritise youth and sports.
