Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has congratulated the Management and Players of Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan on the club’s promotion to the Premiership league.
Professor Akande in a statement in Ibadan expressed joy that the Oluyole warriors are back to the elites position in the Nigeria football league where they rightly belong.
He expressed optimism that “3SC as a darling team that is dear to all of us will re-enact it’s winning streaks of the years past by qualifying and winning both national and continental laurels in the nearest future”.
Professor Akande also commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for successfully piloting the 3SC to the elite team.
“The 3SC is our common heritage and we have every cause to congratulate and commend Governor Seyi Makinde for providing the leadership that led our darling team to the prestigious premier league”, he stated.
