Stakeholders’ Engagement: Rauf Aregbesola Visits Iwo Muslim Community, Commissions Ta’awun Symbolic Mosque.
In furtherance of stakeholders’ engagement as mandate by President Muhammad Buhari for all Ministers to go to their respective state and relate critical stakeholders across the board, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has visited Muslim Community in the ancient city of Iwo and commissioned the Iwo Symbol of Islam Mosque built by the Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria led by Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan.
” In continuation of my stakeholders’ Engagement in the at State of Osun, I was received by the Muslim Community in Iwo yesterday. At the well-attended programme which held at the Iwo Town Hall, I canvassed for continued dialogue and peaceful means of conflict resolution”, Aregbesola stated.
” At the event which was attended by the State Governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola; Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, members of the State Assembly; among others. I urged the youths to seek dialogue and debate as peaceful means of conflict resolution, interest articulation and pursuit.
” At the core of my message was LOVE. Love for God, love for humanity and love for Nigeria.
” I also commissioned the Iwo Symbol of Islam Mosque built by the Jama’atu Ta’awunil Muslimeen Society of Nigeria led by Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan in Iwo, Osun State”, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola said.
