OYSCATECH SUG President, Comrade Honesty Hails former NCC Boss, Prof Adeolu Akande over “100 Laptops” Donated to College’s ICT Centre.
The Students’ Union Government’s President, on behalf of his executives, management and entire students of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, in Ibarapa zone of Oyo-State, Comrade Ashiru Taofeeq Akanni popularly known as “HONESTY” has expressed his sincere appreciation to the immediate past Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Proffessor Adeolu Akande over “100 Laptops”, donated to the College ICT Centre, by NCC under Prof Akande’s helmsmanship.
The giant stride by NCC is to support teaching and research.
Former Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government Area of the state, and a representative of Prof. Akande at the occasion, Hon Niyi Adeagbo, yesterday, July 6, 2023, commissioned the gadgets, in the College’s ICT Centre.
Comrade Honest’s appreciation message reads,”THE STUDENTS’ UNION GOVERNMENT, OYO STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY, IGBOORA.
The Students’ Union Government wishes to express her sincere appreciation to the immediate past NCC Chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande Esq for donating 100 Laptops to the institution to support teaching and research. The laptops were commissioned by one of his representatives HON Niyi Adeagbo yesterday 6th July, 2023, in the College ICT Centre.
The commissioning was attended by staff and students during which encomiums were poured on Prof. Adeolu Akande for his education support initiatives and for his empowerment programmes.
The Students’ Union Government also congratulates Prof. Adeolu Akande as he marked his 58th birthday on the 3rd of July, 2023 and cake was cut to commemorate his birthday anniversary.
Dr Ajisebiobinrin representing Prof. Adeolu Akande while delivering the lecture emphasised the need and significant of community service and human development. While responding to the lecture delivered by Prof. Adeolu Akande, the union used the opportunity to request for bus for the Students’ Union. The Students’ Union also appealed to Prof. Adeolu Akande to extend his empowerment programmes and humanitarian services to the students and staff of the institution.
“On behalf of the Students’ Union Executive led by COMR ASHIRU TAOFEEQ AKANNI (HONESTY), I expressed gratitude to Prof. Adeolu Akande and gave him a great accolades for his contributions to the growth and development of the institution and digital transformation in general”, Comr Ashiru Taofeeq Akanni(Honesty) submitted.
