Teachers’ Day 2024: Rachael Oluwatoyin Abeleje Celebrates Educators
Rachael Oluwatoyin Abeleje, 2023 House of Representatives aspirant for Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, has congratulated teachers across the federal constituency and Oyo state on the commemoration of Teachers’ Day 2024.
In her message to teachers released by her media office, the influential chieftainess of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abeleje, described teachers as builders of the people’s future.
“On behalf of myself, family, and supporters across the Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, I celebrate all educators across the federal constituency on the commemoration of Teachers’ Day.
“It is a day to appreciate and celebrate the contributions of teachers to nation-building. Congratulations to all our valued pedagogues.
“As we all know, teachers build the future by shaping the minds of our children, who are the leaders of tomorrow. So, I know their importance, and I dearly congratulate them on this occasion.
The Oyo APC chieftainess, Abeleje, urged that the voices, recommendations, and suggestions of teachers should be valued and empirically considered.
“In line with the theme of this year’s celebration,’valuing teachers’ voices: towards a new social contract for education’, I want to urge that the voices, recommendations, and suggestions of teachers be valued and empirically considered because it paves way for a better life, living conditions, and reward system for teachers, which in turn would create a better working and learning environment for teachers and children.
