Teachers’ Day: Hon ‘Dayo Adeniyi Hails Pedagogues, Urges ‘Proper Funding of Education’

A seasoned teacher and an advocate of education for all, Hon. Dayo Adeniyi has joined people across the world to celebrate all teachers irrespective of their profession on World Teachers Day.
In a message made available to the media, Adeniyi lauded the teaching profession; those who dedicated their time to the profession (academics and non-academics) despite the challenges involved; and those that have achieved success in the profession in one big way or another.
Adeniyi urged proper funding of education and commitment to inclusive education.
Adeniyi, a moral and inspiring teacher, noted that the position of being a teacher is a life task that builds a resounding future on one hand and advances civilisation, innovation and technology on the other.
Adeniyi described teachers as professionals and motivators who not only implant moral values in the lives of their trainees but also motivate them to shape the future positively. Thus, contributing to the development of humanity.
“Happy Teachers Day to all professional colleagues and seasoned pedagogues,” Adeniyi submitted.
