Teachers’ Day: Oyo North Senator, Buhari, Celebrates Teachers, Pledges to Sustain Advocacy for Improved Working Conditions

As teachers in Oyo North joined their colleagues all over the world to celebrate 2025 Teachers’ Day, the senator representing the good people of the senatorial district and the leading governorship Aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, Dr Buhari Abdulfatai has rejoiced with the pedagogues while pledging to intensify efforts in his agitations for their better working conditions.

Dr Buhari stated this in a press release issued and made available to journalists in the early hours of today in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to the legislator, teachers are the backbones of Nigeria, just like in every other country in the world, for their selfless and unrelenting commitments towards moulding the present leaders, with him inclusive, and also their children that will undoubtedly become leaders of tomorrow.

He said, “I see the hard work you are putting in place. This will not go unnoticed. As your representative in the Senate, I am committed to being your voice, to fighting for your better condition and to fostering the support you really deserve.

While identifying the children as the greatest resources Nigeria has, Senator Buhari charged teachers to keep nurturing them so that they can be useful not only to themselves and their families but also to Nigerian society at large.

He prayed for all teachers to live longer to mark many teachers’ days and enjoy the fruits of all their labour.
