Tech-U Student Breaks Global Record, Wins Cambridge Honour for Varsity

Daniela Bimbo Kolade, an ingenious student of the Abiola Ajimobi Technical University (Tech-U) has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning a prestigious global recognition for the university during a recent boot camp at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
The news was shared in a statement by Babatunde Gbadamosi, Ph.D., the acting Dean of Student Affairs at Tech-U, who expressed immense pride in Daniela’s accomplishment. “I am delighted to inform you that the boot camp concluded successfully, with Daniela’s team emerging as the overall winner of the team project competition,” he stated.
This victory not only highlights the creativity and teamwork of the students but also positions Tech-U prominently on the global academic stage. Daniela’s leadership and dedication have set a benchmark for excellence, inspiring fellow students at the university.

•Melissa Erwing—PhD Candidate, Newcastle University, Scotland
•Elvira Veechi — BSc in Industrial Engineering, University Campus Bio-Medico, Italy
•Giorgia Iaione — BSc in Medical Technology, University Campus Bio-Medico, Italy
•Kolade Daniela — BSc in Software Engineering, Abiola Ajimobi University, Nigeria
Remarkably, Daniela was the only African and Nigerian in the victorious team, underscoring the significance of her achievement. This success serves as a testament to the capabilities of Nigerian students, demonstrating that they can compete effectively with peers from renowned global institutions.
