Teslim Kunle Foundation Organises 5th Ramadan Lecture in Iseyin
On Sunday, the Teslim Kunle Foundation organised its 5th Ramadan lecture at Ojude-Oba, Iseyin, in Oyo State, drawing a diverse array of dignitaries, including businessmen, politicians, and corporate representatives, among others.
The erudite guest lecturer, Al-Imam Sheikh Daud Oladele Tijani, delivered an enlightening discourse on “The role of Islam in politics and its benefit to the community.” Sheikh Daud emphasised Islam’s pivotal role in shaping political systems, advocating for justice, equality, and good governance as fundamental principles for societal development.
Founder of the Teslim Kunle Foundation, Hon. Teslim, underscored the organisation’s commitment to selfless service, particularly in education, human empowerment, spiritual guidance, employment, healthcare, and governance. Over the past five years, the foundation has made significant strides in enhancing education, empowering youths, and fostering employment opportunities.
Hon. Teslim expressed gratitude to Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin (OFR) and other esteemed personalities for their unwavering support. He highlighted the foundation’s latest effort, the Ramadan Lecture, aimed at providing spiritual guidance and offering prayers for peace, tranquilly, and progress in Oke-Ogun, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
