The Truth Behind The Lie.
You must have heard of, “repeat a lie over and over and it becomes the truth”.
Many people lose his or her identity in the pursuits of shadows and lies.
Lies are easy to cook and we will always need a lie to cover up another lie. A life full of lies – hypocrisy, pretence, charade and deception may seem glamorous and enviable but the more it is being lived, the more it transforms to a major lie and the truth may no longer be retrievable.
We may impress to suppress and oppress but if it is fake then it is not worth the impression; for whenever the truth gets leaked, that life will no longer be redeemable and all impression will go off like smoke into thin air.
Emptiness and regret will be all that will remain and there is not a thing that hurts more than regret.
Why not then live simple, be true, live within your means, be honest, be open, be truthful, be accountable, be content; you may fail countless times and be rejected, abandoned, lonely, disappointed and mocked but when you stay true and your life attracts the right connects necessary for your voice to be heard, name to be reckoned with and light to shine, then you will notice that a genuine life should not be traded for anything not durable.
Before the real you dies and the truth is lost, wade off the mask and take the bull by the horn, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Things may be hard, admit it; experiences may be bitter, brace up; having a livelihood may be hellish, hold on to hope, never despair and never trade your dignity and integrity in a bid to cling to a clique.
Memory of whatever one portrays goes to posterity; do not ruin posterity with ‘feferity’.
