Timothy Oludare’s Killing – We’re Working With Sister Agencies to Ensure Justice – Oyo PCC Commissioner, Folawiyo Bello Says.

The Federal Commissioner for Public Complaints Commission(PCC), in Oyo state, Asiwaju Folawiyo Bello has revealed that his Commission, PCC is working with Nigeria Police Force(NPF), especially, office of the Inspector General of Police(IGP), Human Rights Commission, and other sister agencies to ensure justice for the late Timothy Adegoke Oludare.

Folawiyo commended NPF for promptly swinging into action on the matters and he reiterated that NPF must ensure thorough investigation into the brutal murder of the Oyo State-born, Oludare.

“On behalf of self and PCC, firstly, I want to salute Nigeria Police Force(NPF) for promptly swinging into action on the gruesome murder of Timothy Adegoke Oludare and I want to, also, encourage NPF to intensify efforts on thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing with a view of unmasking the perpetrators of the heinous crime and bringing them to book”, he stated.

The late Oludare was reportedly murdered in the night of November 5, 2021 in his room at the Hilton Hotel and Resorts, Ile Ife, Osun State where he had lodged to sit for his Executive MBA examination at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife.

“As a watchdog of the nation, PCC is watching the whole processes with keen interests and we will make sure that the perpetrators are brought to book no matter highly placed they are”, Bello assured.

“Also, I sympathise with the family of late Timothy Adegoke Oludare, Eruwa community and entire Ibarapa land. I pray that may God repose his soul and grant the bereaved fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”, he said.

Folawiyo saluted teaming youths of Eruwa community for their courageous disposition and their nonviolent approaches to ensure justice over the killing. He also appealed for ceaseless nonviolence and calmness while the agitation continue tenaciously until justice is appropriately served.
