TINUBU: Soji Akanbi’s COMBAT Hosts Traders, Artisans, Others in Ibadan Ahead of Presidential Polls.

Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COMBAT), a foremost independent organisation founded by former Oyo South Senator, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi, has mobilised market men and women, artisans and tradesmen, and other organisational leaders, ahead of February 25 presidential polls.

At the formal gathering and important meeting held today, February 1 at E99 Event Centre, Near Obasanjo Hatcheries, Oluyole Estate, in Ibadan, COMBAT hosted and engaged 10 delegates from over 80 market and artisan groups, as well as several organisations.

While canvassing supports for All Progressives Congress(APC) Presidential Flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, COMBAT’s initiator, Sen. Soji Akanbi sought the attendees’ total commitments to campaign, mobilise, vote and protect their votes for Asiwaju Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential elections.

In Akanbi’s words,”Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver. He has capacity and all what it takes to reposition Nigeria. He has Midas touch and whatever he touches turns gold. Let’s all rally round him.

Addressing participants, Akanbi continued,”We’re doing it together and we shall all reap fruits of our labour. Let’s all vote enmass and let’s mobilise others to record landslide victory, at the polls.

SOJ, as the former Oyo South Senator is fondly called, hinted that,”We want all these associations to register their groups. When I was the senator, I and in conjunction with federal government, wanted to assist traders with grants of 100Mlion Naira but many that supposed to benefit from the scheme were yet to register their organizations, then. Rest assured, after our emergence, we will definitely empower people but go and register first.” He emphasized.

In his remarks, Chairman, Ibadan Progressive Marketers Association(IPMA)
Chairman, Alhaji(Chief) Waheed Atolashe stated that,”All protocols are well observed, and particularly, I recognize our Boss, Sen. Soji Akanbi. Thanks for your charismatic mode of leadership and thanks for your total commitments on the agenda. We shall coast home victory. By His Grace and with the supports of all of our people here, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the next President.

Atolashe furthered,”Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has revolutionalized Lagos and it’s now like London. As a builder of men, BAT has made many people and they’re all doing wonderfully well in different fields of endeavours. So, BAT is tested and trusted. Let’s support him.

The Ekerin Olubadan of Ibadan Land, High Chief Amidu Ajibade in his remarks revealed that,”I’m a politician and I’ve been a Deputy National Chairman of a political party, for four years. So, I’m politically conscious and I can clearly tell you that Jagaban is the only presidential candidate that has all it takes to govern Nigeria, presently.

He revealed his total convinction in Tinubu as the best man for the job.” Tinubu is an extraordinaire…. I’m happy that I’m supporting him and thanks to my brother, SOJ for inviting me. Indeed, I really hold SOJ in high esteem, for taking after Asiwaju Tinubu and for his humility.

Ajibade continued,”Our Leader, Asiwaju Tinubu is a great man and we all call him Jagaban because of his consistency. How many people do we call Jagaban? It’s only Tinubu. Others are just nicknamed after him. So, this shows how great he is and that he has capability that is not in doubt.

Former Senatorial Chairman in Oyo South, Hon Adefisoye Adekanye hailed Asiwaju Tinubu as a rare talent and human capital developer, who has made countless people.”He has made many governors, ministers, high ranking officials and other public office-holders.

Women Leader COMBAT, Yeye Abimbola Oluwaseun Osunsan, said,”Tinubu is the next President. We women are solidly behind him because he is the only helmsman that this moment calls for. Let’s all throw our weights behind him.

While giving speech at the meeting, COMBAT Coordinator, in United Kingdom(UK), Prince Gboyega Aderolu (ROLU 1) stated that,”Let us all see ourselves as ambassadors of Jagaban and let’s all go and deliver Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria. He’s tested and trusted. He knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.

Engr Babatunde Tolase while hailing Akanbi;”Okanlomo, Hon. SOJ, really loves Ibadan and he had at once empowered more that 100 traders’ groups with more than 500,000 Naira each. Balogun Ayuba Quadri also lauded SOJ as a reliable leader and he maintained that “whatever he spearheards is always genuine and successful.”It’s crystalline clear that when Tinubu is elected, he will perform wonderfully and Nigeria’s leadership challenges will be holistically addressed.

The meeting was also attended by other political bigwigs and eminent personalities who took their turns to give remarks and assured of Asiwaju Tinubu’s victory.
