A frontline sociopolitical organisation, Tinubu Vanguard has congratulated
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new helmsman of Nigeria.
The congratulatory message issued by the Convener of the group, Dr. Johnny Benjamin and made available to the newsmen goes thus,”Tinubu Vanguard! Greater Nigeria!!! Greater Nigeria! Tinubu Will Deliver!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PRINCIPAL, PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINIBU on his successful election and subsequent inauguration as President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Our journey for the support for the election of Mr. President actually began on the 1st of January 2020 when Tinubu Vanguard was birthed. Today we are very delighted to announce to the world particularly those who greeted our formation and aspirations with doubt and dismay.
Owing to the enormous qualities of our Principal whom we so much believed in, we actually embanked on vigorous campaigns across the entire country and in the Diaspora.
Several meetings were held to constitute the National Executive Committee which was formally inaugurated on the 5th of December 2020. In 2021, the 36 states plus FCT and the 774 Local Government Executives were also constituted and inaugurations of these chapters were eventually carried out to ensure well coordinated grassroots mobilization.
We came together at the instance of Tinubu Vanguard to launch a campaign for our Principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He never said he wants to be president as at the time we set out to campaign for him; we want him to be because he has always supported others to lead, so we also wanted him to take the lead now. He has capacity, he is qualified, he is knowledgeable, he is a strategist, and he has the technical knowhow. He knows the world, the world also knew him. His political sagacity is second to none. We have no doubt or whatsoever that he can, and will deliver the dividends of democracy in Nigeria.
Some major national organizations have also joined us in collaboration with their total structures. The first one is the National Association of Keke and Okada Riders/Owners with over 5million members. The second one is the National Association of Women Cooperatives with over 5million members. And the third one is the National Association of Builders and Artisans with over 6million members across the country. We also have representatives of some National Labour and Trade Unions, including The Nigerian Labour Congress – NLC, Student Union Governments – SUGs, Nigeria Medical Association – NMA among others as directors in Tinubu Vanguard.
They led discussions of collaboration with their parent bodies, of which talks reached advanced stages, which led us to grand standing strength that gave us a big boost and as such, brought about our full recognition, thereby making us one of the largest support group for Asiwaju which will eventually translated into actual votes and won us victory for our dear President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It was payback time for Asiwaju, hence we came out and prevail on him to answer the clarion call and presented him to be elected and subsequently sworn-in and take over as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This way, the works of the out gone administration will be consolidated and built upon to bring about the new Nigeria of our dream.
Therefore we, once again, appreciate all Nigerians and urge everyone to keep faith with our new President as we have full confidence in his capacity to deliver a greater Nigeria.
