Tinubu’s SSA on Student Engagement, Asefon, Congratulates NANS President-elect, Emonefe, Others

Comrade Asefon Sunday, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Student Engagement to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has extended his warm congratulations to Comrade Emonefe Lucky of College of Education Warri, Delta State, on his victory as the newly elected President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

The announcement comes following the conclusion of the NANS National Convention held at Old Parade Ground, Abuja, from Monday, November 27th, 2023, to Saturday, December 2nd, 2023.

Comrade Asefon also extended congratulations to Comrade Akinteye Babatunde Afeez (Babtee) for emerging as the Senate President-Elect and other National Executive Officers elected during the convention.

The SSA’s message commended the newly elected leaders for their dedication and expressed confidence in their ability to serve Nigerian students effectively. Asefon highlighted the significance of the trust and confidence placed in Emonefe and others by the student community, emphasizing their commitment to advocating for students’ rights and welfare.

As the Senior Special Assistant on Student Engagement, Asefon expressed eagerness to collaborate closely with the new NANS leadership to enhance the overall student experience and address the challenges faced by students nationwide. He encouraged the elected officials to uphold high standards of integrity and dedication in serving NANS members.
