Traders laud power minister over solar-powered street lights’ installation at Adegoke Adelabu market in Ibadan

Traders in Ibadan, particularly those at Adelabu Adegoke market, have commended the Minister of Power and 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for providing them with solar-powered street lights.
The traders, while receiving the items from an aide to the minister, Otunba Femi Awogboro, said the efforts of Adelabu towards alleviating the suffering of the masses cannot be overemphasised.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Vice Chairman of Adelabu Market, Taiwo Aromolaran, lauded the minister for the installation.

Aromolaran asserted that the traders in the market are solidly behind Adelabu’s 2027 gubernatorial ambition and ready to give him their full support come 2027.

“The minister passed here, saw our plight and promised us the solar light; to our surprise, he fulfilled his promise in 48 hours,” Aromolaran revealed.
“We are not surprised with Adelabu’s donation; he has been doing such before. He was the one that dug the borehole water we are drinking in this market. We are still using the water till now, and many people were benefiting from it. We must also thank him for his intention to empower thousands of traders across Oyo State. We pray Adelabu will never know sorrow.
“On behalf of the Iyaloja of this market, Babaloja, the Chairman, executives, and all traders in this market, we thank the Minister for his kindness and mankind.” He submitted.
