Traditional Rulers Laud Ajibola Muraina’s Commitment to Ibarapa, Pray for Ex-Lawmaker

Former federal lawmaker Honourable Ajibola Muraina has reaffirmed his commitment to community development as he hosted the ten traditional rulers of the five major communities in Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, receiving prayers, commendations and royal blessings for his continued service to the region. At the event, Muraina presented the royal fathers with deep freezers, grinding machines and cash support as part of his ongoing commitment to the Renewed Hope within grassroots.

In attendance were the Asingangan of Igangan, the Elempe of Tapa, the Asawo of Ayeteland, the Onidere of Idere, the Olu of Igboora, the Olu Aso of Iberekodo, the Baba Aso of Igbole, the Onipako of Pako and the Onidofin of Idofin. Their convergence underscored Muraina’s widespread acceptance across Ibarapa.

The Asawo of Ayeteland offered glowing commendations, saying, “Muraina belongs to all of us. His works and achievements cut across the entire Ibarapa region. The records speak volumes. May the Almighty God continue to bless him.”

Similarly, the Olu Aso of Iberekodo praised Muraina’s consistency in giving back to society regardless of political outcomes. He said, “What I love most about him is that even when he loses an election, it does not stop him from giving back to the society. After he lost the election in 2015, he still donated a Mikano generator, a transformer, ₦2 million cash and six classrooms to the Police College, Igboora.

The Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Moshood Abass, was also present, alongside respected party leaders including Chief Olawuwo and Chief Adenrele. They commended Muraina’s sustained developmental interventions across education, security, infrastructure and welfare, noting that his actions reflect a politics of service rather than self-interest.

The traditional rulers prayed for Ajibola while encouraging the lawmaker to remain steadfast in his commitment to the overall progress and wellbeing of all communities in Ibarapa.
