TRADITIONS: MHR Hopeful, Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola Graces “Ijo Adimula Olorisa Parapo’s Prog” in Sepeteri, Saki East LGA.

Member, House of Representatives(MHR) Hopeful from ATISBO, Saki East and Saki West Federal Constituency, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), come 2023, Honourable Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola has graced “Ijo Adimula Olorisa Parapo Sepeteri’s Chieftaincy Ceremony and 5-Million Naira Fund Raising Programmes”, which was held today, Thursday, May 5, along Ojupo Road, Oke Agoro, in Sepeteri, Saki East Local Government Area of Oyo-State.

The Detribalized Nigerian, Hon. Ogunmola lauded the traditional worshippers over the event and described it as “historical one”.

Ogunmola, who emphasized the importance of culture and tradition, quoted Robert Alan and Wendell Pierce that,”Cultural differences should not separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity — The role of culture is that it’s the form through which we as a society reflect on who we are, where we’ve been, where we hope to be.

In his usual philanthropic manners, Ogunmola donated 110,000 Naira to support the program and he charged all religionists to always foster unity and promote peaceful coexistence among each other.

While commenting, the Chairman, Chief Ogunmodede Odediran, Secretary, Prince Olawoyin Olakunle O and “Are Oje”, High Chief Ambe A. Ogunyale of the traditional organisation, unanimously, posited that despite being a Christian devout, Hon. Ogunmola has never discriminated against people based on their places of birth or beliefs. ”Indeed, Hon. Ogunmola is a blessing, not only to Oke-Ogun people but to the entire human race. As a detribalized Nigerian, you’ve never discriminated against anybody based on his or her creed or colour. Thank you for coming. Thank you for your supports. Thank you for all you do on cultural revival, traditional renaissance and advancement of Oke-Ogun and humanity, in general. Olodumare Atun Ma Gbe Yin Ga.
