TRAGEDY: Policeman Shoots, Kills Lawyer in Lagos.
Mrs. Omobolanle Raheem , a lawyer, has been shot and killed instantly by a yet to be identified policeman in Lagos.
This tragedy occurred on Christmas day as she sat by her husband who drove their vehicle towards Ajah bridge. The reason for opening fire had not been explained so far.
The suspect is said to work at Ajiwe police station in Ajah under Lagos state police command.
The IGP , Usman Alkali Baba has ordered an investigation into the death of Mrs. Raheem, describing it as unfortunate. The ÌGP also sent condolences to the family of the slain lawyer.
The Nigerian police has recorded many such killings in its history and getting justice for the victim has always been tough.
