TRIBUTE: Accord Guber Candidate, Adelabu Pays Condolence Visit to Ogunmola’s Family.

Accord Gubernatorial Candidate in the next general election and former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN), Chief Adebayo Adelabu has earlier yesterday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Honourable Jacob ‘Funmi Ogunmola in Lagos.

Late Jacob Funmi Ogunmola popularly known as “JFO” who died on Sunday night was Accord Party House of Representative candidate for the 2023 general elections in the Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency comprising Atisbo, Saki West and Saki East local governments.

Adelabu met with the wife and other members of Ogunmola’s family in their Lagos residence on Tuesday to console them, pray with the family for the repose of the soul of the deceased and for divine fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.

In his remarks, Chief Adelabu described Late ‘Funmi Ogunmola as a fighter with a gentle spirit who was mostly interested in the development of his community and upliftment of the downtrodden. He lauded Ogunmola’s campaign style as issue-based, development-focused and victory-driven.

Adelabu revealed that the party had high hopes of Ogunmola’s victory at the next election given signs witnessed during the Party’s consultative tour of Ogunmola’s Federal Constituency.

“He was loved by all. The traditional council, the religious communities which include the Christians, the Muslems and traditional religion’s community. Even, the artisans, the market women, the farmers, the unions, the teachers, civil servants and all spoke highly of him and his developmental activities which cut across Atisbo, Saki East and Saki West federal constituency.

The Accord’s guber candidate, Chief Adelabu joined others in prayers and he expressed his desire for his Party’s victory at the poll next year as the only way to disallow Ogunmola’s hard work to go in vain and immortalize the deceased’s legacies of selfless service.
