Tribute: Gov Ajimobi Is An Irreplaceable Personality in Nigerian Politics – Bunvic.

The Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, and Member representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, Hon Olusegun Dokun Odebunmi has described the immediate past Governor of Oyo state, Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi as an irreplaceable and eminent personality in Nigerian Politics.

“Our Legendary leader, Gov. Ajimobi is a fearless and relentless helmsman who pursued excellence and brought unprecedented greatness to Oyo state”, Bunvic stated.

In his brief address with journalists, to commemorate one year anniversary of Ajimobi’s demise, Chairman, House of Reps Oyo state APC Caucus, Bunvic eulogised the values and leadership styles of the late governor. He praised his rare ability to stand firm in the face of bitter politics and grueling opposition.

In his word, ‘It is hard to turn the page when you know someone will not be in the next chapter. But it is not for us to lament but to understand that everyone’s time will pass. But the history of our time will remain. This is the biggest verdict of history. Nothing subsists forever.

“Senator Ajimobi has been grossly missed by every lover of peace in the state, especially, with the apparent failure of the government that succeeded him in the areas of security and infrastructures”, Odebunmi extolled.

“Today we gather to mourn as one ensuring the memory of our great leader, which will never be undone by mischief makers and enemies of our collective endeavors. You cannot lose a person who has lived for the people. You only lose their body, the rest of them can be found in our heart and mind.

“Leader Abiola Ajimobi’s death painful as it was, has finally taught and convinced us that to live in the heart of those who love someone is never to die. But as long as we never forget him, he’ll never truly leave us. Rest on great leader”, Bunvic paid tribute.
