Tribute: Gov Akala Was A Leader With Milk of Kindness – Prof Adeolu Akande Mourns.
Chairman Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has expressed shock over the death of the former Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao- Akala. He described him as an astute politician, and political leader whose heart was full of compassion for the people.
While sympathizing with his immediate family, the good people of Ogbomosholand, his political associates,APC members and the entire people of Oyo State, Akande urged them not to be despondent as the ex- governor died a fulfilled man with enviable accomplishments worthy of celebration.
“It may not just be a coincidence that Otunba’s transition came almost immediately after that of great monarchs who joined their ancestors very recently – the Soun of Ogbomoso and the Olubadan of Ibadan, but rather a divine attestation to his kingly stature and unarguable greatness while with us”
“May God and the heavenly angels accord his soul a befitting reception, forgive his shortcomings and fortify those he left behind” , Akande stated.
